About Jared

Jared Borders is a software engineer and fintech founder with 6+ years of experience building in traditional and decentralized finance. In 2021, he became Crypto.com's first U.S. hire for its DeFi team, serving as a smart contract engineer. He later joined Kwenta as a founding protocol engineer, where he built the margin trading engine that went on to process more than $120B in futures volume. As an elected member of Kwenta's DAO governance, he helped steward the protocol through its $13.2M acquisition in 2024. Jared then transitioned to Synthetix as a senior protocol engineer and technical architect, leading engineering and product strategy for its v4 derivatives marketplace protocol. In 2025, he founded Ollo Finance, an FX derivatives platform for managing currency exposure across fiat and stablecoin markets.
