About Jared

Jared Borders is a software engineer and fintech founder with 6+ years of experience building in traditional and decentralized finance. In 2021, he became Crypto.com's first U.S.-based smart contract engineer on its DeFi team. From there, he joined Kwenta as its first full-time engineer, authoring every iteration of the margin trading engine that processed over $130B in volume before Kwenta's $13.2M acquisition in 2024. At Synthetix, he served as technical architect, leading the design of its v4 derivatives protocol. In 2025, he founded Ollo Finance, an FX derivatives platform for managing currency exposure across fiat and stablecoin markets.
